Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts German Campaign Balance Changes

In the latest update for Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts, the German campaign has received a series of balance changes aimed at fine-tuning the gameplay experience. These alterations have been made to various units, structures, and abilities, with the goal of creating a more well-rounded and challenging game.

One of the key changes affecting the German arsenal is the adjustment of Stug and StuH target damage modifiers. The burst length has been reset, while moving accuracy and moving burst modifiers have been tweaked to match non-assault rifle weapons. Additionally, projectiles have been set to artillery type to deal with errant misses.

Several individual units have also received attention. The Nebelwerfer Vet 3 damage has been reduced from 1.25 to 1.15, while the Puma234 Armoured Car Vet 2 range bonus has been decreased from 1.2 to 1.125. The British Howitzer Popcap has been lowered from 12 to 10.

Veterancy experience requirements have also been tweaked for certain units, with Ranger Veterancy now requiring 14/28/50 experience points to level up. Meanwhile, the cost of Allied MG nest has been reduced by 5 fuel.

Sniper rifles have seen an improvement in accuracy when firing at targets behind trench cover, while Churchill Crocodile Flamethrower damage output has been increased against pinned and suppressed targets. The flamethrower's range has also been extended from 20 to 35.

Veteran units such as the Vet 2 StuH have received penetration modifiers, while Wehrmacht Halftracks now deliver 20% more damage at Vet 2 and receive a damage modifier at Vet 1. Stugs and StuHs have also received a 15% health modifier at vet 2.

Panzerfausts have been improved against light vehicles, with the Panther's cost reduced from 140 fuel to 125. Knights' Cross Holders will now receive Panzerfaust ability at Vet 3, while Wehrmacht Panzer Command build time has increased by 15 seconds and its building cost decreased by 15 fuel.

Finally, the Ostwind at Vet 3 has received a 40% boost to accuracy. These changes aim to create a more balanced and engaging gameplay experience for players of the German campaign in Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts.
